Our mission is to introduce a new additive manufacturing system while incorporating tool changing functionalities into its design. To keep simplicity and effectiveness, I am creating a tool changing system to operate without the necessity for extra electrical components. The design will facilitate an easy integration of supplementary tools, providing unparalleled flexibility for diverse manufacturing needs.
08/2022 - 05/2023, Research Intern, FAMU-FSU Aero-Propulsion, Mechatronics, and Energy Center
At the FAMU-FSU Aero-Propulsion, Mechatronics, and Energy (AME) lab, the focus is on understanding the movements of a lamprey as they swim and climb. I've been involved in designing techniques to replicate a lamprey's swimming in robots and conducting experiments to study its effectiveness. The goal is to develop a robot capable of emulating lamprey-like movement, achieved through a blend of mechanical and fluid dynamic principles.

The project focuses on exploring conductive ink's potential for creating working circuits using materials like silver, copper, or carbon. By printing 2D structures with a 3D printer, I investigated its applications. To use this ink effectively, understanding its adhesion properties is crucial. My research focused on studying conductive copper ink's characteristics, including its ability to stick to surfaces and its conductivity. Finally, I utilized this ink to help produce 3D printed solar cells.

This project focuses on embedding in-situ triboluminescent optical fiber (ITOF) sensors within 3D printed carbon-fiber reinforced acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) composites for a structural health monitoring system in aerospace applications.
