ABOUT ME

Headshot of Solomon Andrews

Greetings! I am Solomon Andrews, a Mechanical Engineer and recent graduate of Florida A&M University’s FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. I currently work full-time as a Silicon Wafer Equipment Engineer at Hanwha Qcells, where I oversee machinery maintenance, ensure operational safety, conduct risk assessments, and develop detailed manuals and guides for technicians to safely working with complex equipment.

While I value research and innovation, what truly excites me is the art of mechanical design. I love bringing ideas and solutions to life, whether it's 3D printing custom CAD creations, sketching new product concepts, or simply creating solutions to solve real-world problems. To me, engineering is both a science and a form of creative expression.

At heart, I’m a creator and a problem-solver who values efficiency. I enjoy exploring new technologies, working hands-on with tools and materials, and collaborating on projects that challenge me to grow. My goal is to thrive in the field of mechanical design, building products that benefit people and improve lives.
